Arthur Varanelli is a Consultant working in environmental electro-magnetism, electrical safety, and asset protection. He recently began his consulting venue after a 35 year career in Loss Prevention and Environmental Health and Safety in the insurance and military contractor sectors. Arthur is active in the IEEE International Committee on Electromagnetic Safety (ICES) on the ADCOM and technical committees, the IEEE EMBS Committee on Man and Radiation (COMAR), and has contributed to the Non-Beam Hazards Sub-Committee of ANSI Z136, the laser standard. He obtained his degree in Physics at the University of Maine, Orono, ME, in 1968. Arthur is a disabled Veteran, and actively pursues his hobbies of vacuum tube electronics, clocks, and pocket watches.
